Computacenter today said it was no longer interested in buying Compel. The UK's biggest reseller made a conditional offer for Compel, the UK number 3, in June. So far, it's not saying why.
The Compel board rejected this out of hand. Meanwhile Specialist Computer Holdings, owner of SCC, the UK's second biggest reseller, has amassed a stake of more than ten per cent in Compel. ®
