Sherril Babcock - the woman who was blocked from joining BlackPlanet.com because her named offended filtering software - has been accepted onto the Afro-American community site.

According to an update on the Digital Freedom Network's Web site (http://www.dfn.org/Voices/Americas/usa/blackplanet.htm), Ms Babcock finally backed down and bowed to demands to change her name.
