SANS - Survey on application security programs

An online vigil for Elvis Presley was held yesterday evening to mark the anniversary of his death, August 16 1977.

Fans of the hip-wiggling quiff-ed one have been paying their respects to the singer at his grave on the Graceland estate every year since his death. But this is this first time the annual vigil has been broadcast online at his official site.

This venture into cyberspace has been dubbed a "vigilcast" by its organisers. They said that it would give thousands of Elvis fans an opportunity to see the graveside procession.

Die-hard Elvis fans at the estate said that the "vigilcast" would let a whole new group of people experience the pilgrimage to the grave of the King of rock and roll. ®
