Updated The receivers of SMC Computers today sold the Slough reseller for £20,000.
Send It Now, part of Aldershot-based Upgrade Options, bought the trademarks, Website, customer lists, furniture, fixtures and intellectual property of SMC this afteroon.
It will not take on SMC's debt of more than £1 million; and all 75 staff have lost their jobs, according to Andrew Pear, a senior manager at receivers Howarth Clark Whitehill & Co.
The sale did not include remaining SMC stock, which will be sold off separately.
Howarth Clark Whitehill & Co were called in as receivers at SMC two weeks ago, which had a turnover of £17 million while still trading.
SMC has no connection with the networking equipment company of the same name. ®
