Ideal Hardware has become a distributor for Microsoft's full packaged product (FPP) and licensing.

The Surrey-based company joins the software vendor's three FPP distributors in the UK: Computer 2000, Ingram Micro and Gem. Ideal already has a contract to ship Microsoft software to OEMs.

Ideal, which is currently in the throes of being sold to US giant Bell Microproducts, said it was "delighted" with the deal. ®
