Internet Security Threat Report 2014

Ajay Chowdhury - who stepped down as head of LineOne last week - has resurfaced.

The Jethro Tull fan (although, privately, he has expressed his dissatisfaction with Tull's most recent album, Dot Com) is to head-up NBCInternet's yet-to-be-launched European business.

As the president and CEO of NBCi Europe, Chowdhury will help set up the entertainment and e-commerce portal.

His new management team will be announced shortly and the operation is likely to be based in London.

Chowdhury told The Register that he left LineOne amicably of his own accord to pursue this "exciting opportunity".

Earlier this month NBC Internet said its membership had topped 20 million people. ®
