Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Backup/Recovery

The Gold Rush town of Halfway is to rename itself half.com, in an attempt to revive its flagging fortunes. According to Associated Press, the seven elders of the town have agreed to change the name of the town to HALF.COM, after discussions with a Philadelphian entrepreneur.

The aim is to get more publicity for the place, which first made its fortune when there was gold in them thar hills. It used to have a logging industry, too. But that's gone too.

But if the dotcom attempt fails, it is possible that the town elders will have to rename the town yet again - to BOOM.BUST. ®
