With an expected retail price of around $500, the Type 2 card is intended for the professional digital camera market. It will be sold through specialist distribution channels. David Savage, CEO of Memory Corp, said this complete the flash card range for both volume and professional ends of the market. He expects to see strong growth in both areas over the next 12 months. ®
