The PC Data figures on x.86 chip market share, certainly on the face of it, show AMD in a rosy hue. But dig a bit deeper and you'll find the truth. And, as you all know, the truth will out. PC Data figures show that Intel's market share of the $1,000 to $1,500 slice of the PC market is greater than 65 per cent. Intel's market share above $1,500 is 100 per cent, according to PC Data. That makes Intel a monopoly, doesn't it? Now what's the email address for the FTC?
