ST Microelectronics to buy half of Mitsubishi's flash
And Hitachi to flog its silicon wafer side

Reports in Eurotrade said that Mitsubishi Electric will sell half its German flash memory capacity to French company ST Microelectronics (formerly SGS Thomson). According to the same report, Hitachi will sell its wafer production to company Shin-Etsu Chemical in April of next year.
